I found this rifle browsing and I'm looking for a little info on it. The site didn't even say what caliber it is.

I just shot the Mcmillan sniper comp two weeks ago and the USMC team both had matching TUBB's in .308. They took the comp by a good 200 points! Check it out at http://www.sniperschool.org/McMillan%20Sni...Competition.htm

I must say, the TUBB is a slick setup, but it is a competition gun. I don't know how it would hold up in the field. Military and LE can get it through Mcmillan for about $2500. Just let them know if you are a cop or military and they give you wholesale cost.

As for the comp, it was fun, but mostly for police snipers. Military guys (except marines of course) had a hard time with the close shots. We shot all the way in to 10 yards! The farthest was about 600 yards, and there was a lot of range estimating. Try mil-ranging a 1/2 ipsc target at 575 yards... is that .70 mil or .75 mil???

That one bad a$$ looking rifle - I bet it would be a blast to shoot (pun intended!). huh.gif

It reminds me of Tactical Interventions Windrunner in the design.

I have a T2K Tactical, & you can get it pretty much anyway you want. Mine has a 28" barrel which is not turned for a muzzle level, and chambered in 6xc.
I haven't fired it, but McMillan did & it came with a test target with a 5-shot, .41"group.
I mounted a 8x32NF+an ACI & USO bubble level, + an SR25 20rnd mag, and it weighs exactly 16.00lbs. A Harris bipod & sling will bring it up around 17.5lbs i guess. Pretty heavy. Built well. Beautiful design.
But I couldn't picture someone dragging one of these for sniper work.
Gadgets to hangup everywhere, and I would loose sleep over a scratch!
