This is a recent post from another site. All the replies were positive as well. I heard some negative stuff about their customer service so I thought I'd post this.

A couple weeks ago my beloved 637 snubby started binding up badly while shooting in DA mode. Since the same thing had happened a year ago and I had cured the problem by letting a gunshop do a detail cleaning on it, I assumed the same thing happened as I shoot this gun a LOT. But this time, I decided to pull the side cover off myself and just spray it down with solvent. When I opened it up, it was quite clean inside. But, I had a lot of difficulty getting it back together, and when I did, the trigger wouldn't budge at all. So, after several hours of trying, I decided I was doing something wrong and brought the gun, totally apart in a plastic bag, to a gun shop, where I left it. I got a call the next day saying the problem was that the frame stud the trigger pivots on had broken off! I figured this was going to be big bucks, because I also needed to have the gun refinished because I'd carried it around in a leather IWB holster while mountain biking, which destroyed the finish.
So, I sent it off two weeks ago and just got the form letter saying it had arrived and was being looked at. I'd included a letter requesting an estimate on the charges. Well, tonite, the UPS truck pulled up and dropped off a package I wasn't expecting. It was my 637, sort of. They'd replaced the frame and transferred the serial number, and apparently re-finished the old barrel. Total cost -- $0!! So, I have a brand-new looking gun here that previously had a totally destroyed finish. This gun also had a trigger job done by the previous owner and has a much better pull in DA than your typical J-frame, and I was surprised that was untouched.
Man, I love S&W!
