I think you'll find the information that you are looking for at this link.
http://www.vihtavuori.fi/vihtavuori/index.html

I have shot lots of Lapua factory ammo and have encountered it in use my many military snipers around the world, mostly in SE Asia. The typical load is the D46 using a 185 gr. full metal jacket boat tail.

Personally, (my own humble opinion), the Lapua bullets are superior to the Sierra bullets. I have used both in 1000 yard competition and the Lapuas consistently gave me higher scores.

I used the 185 gr. FMJBT (yep the full metal jacket bullet, not the HPBT) pushed at 3150 fps, using 91.5 - 92.5 grains of H-1000 powder. This is a high pressure load in a rifle with absolute minimal headspace. DO NOT USE IT IN A STANDARD CHAMBER.

The 195 gr. FMJBT is a great setup also. Take care and Merry Christmas

We used to have all that data here but it got moved and I can't find it. In case someone can't get the page open I am including the .308 data here********

Thanks for the imfor and will check out the link.
I got some 170gr FMJBT in the work of loading
Have any of you use PMC cases and what kind of results. Just finished preping the cases and they seem to be very uniform. all cases have lenght of 2.010 and primer pocket turned out with reamer. one thing about the cases is that the flash holes are shaped like a venturi on the primer side where other cases I've seen are just flat with hole.It look like I'll be using varget powder and fed 210M primers.thanks again for any help

I/we have only used 3 kinds of brass so far so we can't comment on the PMC...

1. Black Hills/Winchester
2. Federal GM
3. Lapua

if you buy bulk, Lapua brass is only something like $10 more than the Federal Brass and it is much nicer. Something to think about.

You said you were using a 170 FMJBT. Have you tried the sierra 175 hpbt match or the Lapua 185 Scenar? Something else to look at.

Our load(s) for the 175 sierra are as follows....either 43.3 or 44.4 (what I shoot) IMR 4064 with the fed 210m primers. We are achieving at least 1/2 moa with velocities around 2800fps -2900fps! yesterdays' shooting session rewarded me with a 5-shot group at 700 yards of (4) inside 3" with the 5th shot about 2" high flier. This is with a hot barrel after shooting about 35-40 rounds in about the same amount of time. The point is, the load works for us but we haven't tried the setup you are working with.

If at some point you try this load, start short and work up to it. These are max loads and another gun might not handle it!

Let us know how your load works out. If you find a good one, put it in the tips section so others can try it.

Without a doubt, the best reloading data site I have found is the following:
http://www.accuratereloading.com/reload.html

These guys have reliable data, and do it with great humor and expertise. Enjoy.
