http://www.kimberamerica.com/rifles/tactical/tactical.phpThey look pretty decent, the 8400 and 8400 advanced tactical rifles come with the Mcmillan A5 stock, and there's a light tactical police rifle. Retail prices range from $1258-$2497.

I like their 1911 pistols, have one and it shot very nice right out of the box, hopefully the quality will carry over to their rifles.

They look like nice guns and they really remind me of the SPR.
There are a few reviews on them that I was reading here the other day and they rated par. Nothing spectacular. I do like the A5 stock and they do kind of remind a guy of an SPR. That is why I was reading about them in the first place. I've been looking for a FNH a5m SPR, and I guess they discontinued that line as well as the A4 line but they still have the A3G line. Just a heads up.
It seems like a lot of money for what you get. If I find those links to the reviews i'll post them.

They've had these for quite a few years now. I tested on back about four years ago, for a company. Ain't worth the money difference.

Sounds kinda like an Ed Brown Gucci A5 someone I know had eh Vern??????
Yep! I guess everybody wants to jump on the wagon, my friend.
Since I'm not seeing much activity regarding the Kimber I thought I would jump in. I bought a Sonora long before the "heavy Tactical" was available from Kimber. My son recommended it to me based on three criteria... controlled round feed, .300 WM, and price to performance ratio. The Sonora is a tapered heavy barrel 8400 with essentially the same hard components as the police tactical in .300 WM. It is a hunting rifle with laminated stock and a Konus scope. I don't shoot 600 meter targets with it (yet) and it is barely "broke in". I paid less than half what a Kimber tactical costs for the same accuracy. I am very happy with this rifle and plan to start doing some long range practice with it and hand loading the Hornady 208gr Amax and heavy Sierra's. I have hit white tail deer with this using 165gr HSM factory loads at 200 to 300 yds and its like hitting a prairie dog with a 220 swift!! I have room to use 750 yard targets so once I get some data I'll post it.
