It's a Thompson Center Arms Encore heavy barrel in .204 Ruger, I got it through Shep at Dixie Ammo Dump, thanks again Shep fing32.gif An IOR is mounted on it with TPS rings. I should have the range report in by sunday.

Looks like it should be a pretty awesome combo....congrats!!! Can't wait to here the range report...that .204 is a real screamer!

Looks good Jeff. Bad medicine for varmints. Pretty fancy cleaning table too. wink.gif

I'll need one of those hammer extensions that goes off to the side, it's difficult to c*** but I don't want to raise the scope, the cheek weld is great where it is.

LOL I like the censoring software, do we caulk our guns? smile.gif

Can't wait to see how she shoots.

For a hammer extension, buy the one from Bellm on that link I sent you. They are made of aluminum and have the best attachment design I have seen. While you're getting that from him, also get one of the Speedlock increased power hammer springs that he sells.

Most of the other models I see out there are made of steel. The TC has a slow enough lock time already without adding a bunch of weight to the hammer and slowing it even more!

With the aluminum hammer extension and EP spring, you should be good to go.

Nice looking rig there SR...I have always liked a single shot...just look at the very first post I ever made on SP smile.gif ...was looking at the new TC Pro hunter...ouch...that thing sure will hurt the wallet...after thinking about it a little...how will the forearm mounting to the barrel affect accuracy overall...if it clips onto the barrel and your holding it...can you apply upward force and move the POI...or does it only clip onto the receiver area and float under the barrel...never actually held one so inquiring minds want to know...
cmshoot
They fit up against the receiver and then attach to the barrel via a single vertical bolt through the forearm.

Actually it's two small screws, when I got it I had to remove the handguard to remove the hinge pin to assemble the rifle. I'll definitely pick up the extension and spring.
cmshoot
2 screws? The Encore must be a little different from my Contender handgun.
alipes
Yup, two small screws and a sling swivel is all that's on the forestock.

Sure, I'll take a few, I didn't even get to shoot this weekend, hopefully tomorrow after work.

PM, address and I will send out about 25. Be enough for a test?
