SR where is the 1000 yard range?

1000 yards will probably land the bullets on the Army base. They talked about pushing it back to 600yds, that's about the max for the property if they left a buffer.

Seems 1000 is hard to come by. Been looking for it around the house since I returned from CVT. We have a range in the next county over that has 500. Thinking about shooting a match there some time, schedule permiting.

Why don't you and recon do a road trip and come up for the F-class weekend. The two day match in September is looking good! We can shoot out to 600 at my club range too if you want.

No, I think shooting north is the best direction. Sun shines on your side, not directly in your eyes or directly on your sights or scope from over your shoulder. This eliminates a host of problems.
That range has about 50 firing positions, it's a big one.

Would love to Gunner, but working 21 swing I only get one weekend off a month. Looked at the schedule you posted and none match up. Thanks for the invite, will take you up on the BBQ some day.
