I am looking for the best bi pod for a "sniper" rifle.
I am going to take a Long range tactical rifle course and think I would
benefit from a bi pod for prone shooting. The bi pod will be attached to a
Choate Machine and Tool "Varmint" stock (link provided below) <A HREF="http://www.riflestock.com/supplement2.cfm?title_bar=The%20Ultimate%20Varmint" TARGET=_blank>http://www.riflestock.com/supplement2.cfm?title_bar=The%20Ultimate%20Varmint</A>
%20Stock
It seems you definitely want a bipod that will operate on uneven surfaces
and I would think you would like for it to tilt and pan. However, I have
read that some of the tilt and pan pods will "flop" over when you let go of
the rifle.
Thanks in advance for your thoughts.
Respectfully,
