That thing would be about as much fun as a trip to the dentist and the proctologist on the same day... it just has to hurt!
It's not nearly as bad as the 500 magnum as far as recoil goes, but it does have a kick. As far as barrel life goes I think it would be good to go for a while, how much would you shoot it besides hunting? probably not much. It's not a plinker or self defense revolver, unless you want your bullet going through a bad guy, then 6 good guys, then maybe a library or two.
