  • Smith-Sights Solution: The Properly Hand-Fitted Mosin-Nagant

    Hello,

I thought this might help some here.

The Mosin-Nagant, as designed in Tsarist Russia, was an excellent weapon. Its production was geared toward hand-fitting as was the norm at the time.

Soviet Russia didn't hand-fit as well, and this is especially true of post-war refurbished rifles in the Soviet Union. Those were largely assembled from bins of used, mismatched parts.

Mosins have a badly - deserved reputation of being finicky and clunky. Not so! Take the time to fit the rifle as it should have been (but wasn't) and you'll begin to see its true potential!

I have many free resources both on this channel and on my website to help you. Check them out!

    Regards,
