  • Looking For anyone who used the M16A1 in Vietnam

I'm currently doing a research paper on the M-16A1 and the problems it had in Vietnam. I know some seemed to like the rifle while others cursed it as a piece of junk. I am hoping to find some veterans who used the M16 in Vietnam who would be will just to give a statement on how the rifle functioned in their own experience, manly if the rifle functioned well, didn't function well, specific flaws, and any other positives or negatives the rifle seemed to have. If anyone would volunteer to share their opinions of the M16A1 from first hand experience by replying or messaging me I would greatly appreciate it.

Shortly before World War I, the German Kaiser was the guest of the Swiss government to observe military maneuvers. The Kaiser asked a Swiss militiaman: "You are 500,000 and you shoot well, but if we attack with 1,000,000 men what will you do?" The soldier replied: "We will shoot twice and go home."
