Update on my wife. She is terminal now. She was in the hospital a month ago and the cancer is everywhere in her liver and lings. 2 spots in her brain. The liver is the bad thing as of now. One doctor said 6 months and another that actually studied the scans said 3. Mary shouldn't have ever made it this far. The doctors all call her their Miracle Patient. We both took it hard at first. But we both know that this is all happening for a reason. God does noting without a reason. She's at home. Pretty much stays in bed or in the recliner all day. Very weak, doesn't eat much and has lost ALOT of weight.
I would appreciate it if ya'll would pray for her strength and peace of mind. I just hope she goes fast. I dont want her in any pain. I watched my dad die of liver cancer and it wasn't a pretty thing.

          Thanks Casey

Sorry to hear this my friend. She will be in our prays here in Paju as will you and all your's. Stay strong for her. Soo-jin and I both went through a similar loss of long time spouses and know how tough it is, never give up your faith. One day when you're needing a boost PM me, I'll tell you what happend here just between us, strange things happen when your in a very dark place. All things happen for a reason, never loose your faith.

Sunday we'll ask for a prayer at our church, most will be in Korean but I'm sure they will be understood.

            G*d bless you and yours...Jim & Soo-jin

It's knowing that when I get up in the morning and my feet hit the floor, the Devil says, "Shit! He's awake!"

Shortly before World War I, the German Kaiser was the guest of the Swiss government to observe military maneuvers. The Kaiser asked a Swiss militiaman: "You are 500,000 and you shoot well, but if we attack with 1,000,000 men what will you do?" The soldier replied: "We will shoot twice and go home."

My friend , you got my thoughts, prays and if I could, strength and peace. If I well understood, the travel is near, for the same reasons and because I had a similar experiences, I also hope it will be fast. For me and only for me the thing I would change is have the courage to joke to make them laugh, and say goodbye.
You and your family are in mind.

                    Thanks all.
It'll be ok. She's been fighting it for almost 10 years, she is tired. I personally don't know anyone as strong as Mary. I just hope she goes easy. She deserves that. I have to watch her real close. She was up this morning around 3:30-4:00 bent over to get something off the floor and went face first to the floor. Knot on her forehead, knee scrapped up and the bridge of her nose has a spot. She didn't wake me like she is supposed to when she is up. I woke up hearing her yelling for me. It broke my heart seeing her laying there. She doesn't have the strength to get up on her own.
