  • KOREA UPDATE 4 DECEMBER 2015 0500 KST FRIDAY:NEW NUKE TUNNEL,VALKYRIE WARM UP

    UPDATE 12 AUGUST 2015, 0945 KST:

It is app 80F. and 88% humidity in Paju today.. And we are hot in defensive posture, the western part of the DMZ especially in Paju is as tense as it can get. Folks this AO is pretty much on war footing since Monday. Open source has let out part of the casualty count since last week, 8 wounded, and two SSG's having their legs blown off in North Korean mine attacks North Korean troops have infiltrated the southern DMZ and laid wooden antipersonnel mines a very clear and dangerous violation of the truce agreement. ALL troops in and along the DMZ are under orders to respond instantly to North Korean actions and presence in the southern DMZ Patrols and ambush operation are now fully armed with no safety protocols in effect, free fire on sight. The ROKA is totally ready and wanting to engage the North Koreans after their cowardly attacks over the past few days. Open full scale warfare is like the old Stones song Gimme Shelter is just "a shot away". My teams are fully active and operating in ambush and counter infiltration operations without constraints...tomahawks in the night rule! ALL troops here want revenge and it is happening, the Ghost Walkers are roaming north of the wire again. Don't go out into the darkness Kimie you little, fat f*ck, nobody is stopping the gang now f*cktard

here is some of the news that has been allowed for release. No build ups just read it brothers/

    MORE NEWS AS ALLOWED AND APPROPRIATE;

This is very serious, as bad as the attack on the Blue House in Seoul by North Korean SF in 1968, with no Johnson to talk the ROK out of response. There's going to be a lot of crying in the North, and no pity here.

    Take care...Jim & Soo-jin, expanding Freedom's Frontier one ambush at a time.

UPDATE 4 DECEMBER 2015,0500 KST FRIDAY:

40F.and light rain today on Jeju-do. The family is still sound asleep so we are taking advantage and having a quiet breakfast and getting caught up on work. Soo-jin and I have our uplink so no need to head to the "job site", we definitely have a hi-tech home office and can be where needed inside an hour. We have been watching California closely, all we can say is...the male AND FEMALE (MARRIED) ARE "devout Muslims", wonder how many weeks before they call this one? I guess they were into RC cars too by the amount found in their 'workshop".

Seems North Korea is after all digging a new tunnel at the nuclear test site...http://38north.org/2015/12/punggye120215/

    UPDATE 19 NOVEMBER 2015, 1425 KST THURSDAY:

64F. and cloudy in Paju today, stand to was a bit wet this morning and there was some probing on our right flank and we responded with a mad minute, lol, that should have made them go change their shorts...I love the old Pig (M-60 GPM). I guess they assumed the rain would cover their movement, you know what they say about assume, ne? We will be heading out for a short walk later this afternoon, we will assume nothing. I got that old strange feeling again, maybe it's just the weather, don't know, maybe just to much time walking the line. "A whiter shade of pale" runs through my head on a loop a lot lately, never a good sign.

As if tensions are not high enough, terrorism has reached Korea..http://english.chosun.com/site/data/...111901542.html.

UPDATE 18 NOVEMBER 2015,1220 KST WEDS:

It's 61F. with scattered rain today in Paju, beats snow I guess. they have kept us busy the past week with zero time off. We've been getting some thing done before the winter sets in taking advantage of the mild weather lately, a lot of walking. My daughters will be here next week as long as things remain semi quiet on the peninsula and will remain here through the New Year, should be a nice holiday season this year.

The crystal balls are working overtime, predictions for provocations continue. Low level means no mushroom clouds, and less than 3,000 incoming rounds a minute...http://english.yonhapnews.co.kr/nort...00500315F.html

And some more from the ball...http://www.arirang.co.kr/News/News_View.asp?nseq=185380

North Korea has declared a no sail zone on the East Sea, meaning a possible missile launch is upcoming...http://koreajoongangdaily.joins.com/...px?aid=3011579

China will return 9 defectors back to North Korea, pretty much a death sentence...http://english.chosun.com/site/data/...111801165.html

Our hearts go out to the French people and the citizens of Paris after the Friday the 13th cowardly attacks made by the MUSLIM EXTREMISTS, two words Obama can not say, and we wonder why. Obama all this is YOUR FAULT and your cowardly behavior. We are glad to hear that you and Putin have figured out a bomb brought the Russian airliner down finally.

    Fast work, ne?...http://www.arirang.co.kr/News/News_View.asp?nseq=185372

Seems Korea is on the ISIS list of targets now...http://english.chosun.com/site/data/...111801471.html

yes we do have Muslims in Korea, 135,000 or so...http://koreajoongangdaily.joins.com/...px?aid=3011661

We noted too, Obama is totally intent on importing ISIS operators into the USA, perhaps he should house them in the his living quarters. this has got to be one of his most stupid moves, or is it intentional?

A report on the North Korean weapons increases...http://www.arirang.com/News/News_View.asp?nseq=185212

UPDATE 11 NOVEMBER 2015, 1230 KST WEDS: Remember the cost of freedom, walk the long rows of white markers and the fields fought for.

60F. and cloudy today in Paju, we have been on the move for the last couple of weeks. Tensions are still very high along the border and the frontlines, we are waiting for the "next shoe to fall". We have our fingers crossed that the KPA will be quiet until after Thanksgiving, my daughters will be here for the holiday and possibly for Christmas/New Years this year. This years Veterans day trek will happen this Saturday, our schedule set us back until then.

In the news, seems another prediction of the North's collapse is being made. The day is coming and it may be coming fast, faster than this prediction...http://english.yonhapnews.co.kr/nort...07400315F.html

I'll bet they are, another sell out in the making?...http://english.yonhapnews.co.kr/nort...00300315F.html

North Korea is aligning more with Russia now, so reason and thought are also lowering....http://english.yonhapnews.co.kr/nort...02300320F.html

This Saturday we head out for our trek of the battlefields, cemeteries and monuments here on the peninsula. It will be of normal length and all sites will be visited ending as usual on the east coast where the family will place a wreath for my father Dutch, and all his brothers who went north to the Yalu and were lost defending the passage for their brothers to escape at Hungnam 10-24 December 1950. maybe one day we can bring them all home.

Fall has not bee to bad this year, the leaves and fields have changed colour, but the Valkyries look just as hot as ever! You all are missing another great season in Korea! here is just one more reason we love our new home and plan to say here forever...
    Fall grass.jpg

WE will try to post more updates, hopefully the winter season will slow down the operational tempo>

    UPDATE 21 OCTOBER 2015, 1445 KST WEDS:

We are at about 75F. and sunny today in Paju, not bad. It's been quiet the past couple of day, also not bad. If things stay stable we will be heading down to Seoul and our hideaway at the InterContinental Friday afternoon for a long weekend of good food, dancing and adult beverages, and of course the spa tub lol.

The family reunions are off and running with the North actually behaving well this time...http://english.chosun.com/site/data/...102101116.html

Seems 20 NK officials got the heck outta Pyongyang to the South, lol!...http://english.chosun.com/site/data/...102101277.html

Loyalty to Kim Jong-un is weakening, this could be bad with a collapse of the North, a good chance for open combat exists with South military moving in to stabilize the North...http://english.chosun.com/site/data/...102101843.html

opposition is mounting in the North, and resistance is starting to surface. Though what is mentioned here is open source there are other movements not that you may have heard of here...http://freekorea.us/2015/10/19/stage-five-watch/ ...and some are HID....

IMHO peace will come with a bang, well many bangs and the defeat of the North, the only way peace will come....http://english.yonhapnews.co.kr/nort...00251315F.html

Ok. I keep explaining to people why Japan standing up deploy-able forces is a destabilizing factor for the region. But, with no sense of history for perspective, they don't get it.

Why don't they just have an "accident" with that damn tube. Seems like a quick answer.

    Still jealous buddy. Nice pics.
