  • Calling all Hunters!

Fall approaches, and with it comes yet another season dedicated to the pursuit of whatever game species it is that stirs your soul.
Be it whitetails in the south, elk in the West, moose up north, varmints, bear or predators, many of us can remember fondly, time spent with our fathers and grandfathers, learning the time honored ethics and traditions of hunting and shooting.
As the leaves turn colors, and the mornings turn cold, something deep inside us feels that overwhelming urge once again. That burning desire to watch the sun come up from atop a frosty or snow covered ridgetop, witness the first deer movement of the morning from our treestands, or to hear a herd bull bugling just before sunup, as he moves his cows into the timber before first light.
These are the undeniable feelings that overcome us as hunters each fall.
Whether you hunt with your grandad's hand-me-down '06, a state of the art tactical rig, a custom built hunting rifle or a bow, really doesn't matter. The feeling is the same. For the true hunters out there, you know what I mean. It's a state of mind. It's the feelings and memories we take back with us after every day spent afield.
So WELCOME to SP's newest forum. Here, we can share experiences, stories and photos of past hunts, talk about our favorite hunting rifle or load, or just shoot the breeze with other hunters and members around the campfire.
Now let's see some pictures of your hunting rifles, and some shots of game taken under "fair chase" conditions. Got a hunting question? Here's the time and place to ask.
For all the hunters here at SP.... Welcome to hunting camp.
"We stand at the ready at Hell's front door. We are the sharpest, and most potent arrow in the quiver of last resort and upon us hangs the weight of being the final option. When it cannot otherwise be done, we are called. When lives are at stake and the specter of death roams freely, we are put into the fray. We go once more into the breach where others fear to tread. We do what others won't, or can't, and we are allowed no errors. For us mistakes mean death. We must train as if our lives and the lives of others hang in the balance for indeed they truly do. Spend this day and every other seeking perfection in the warrior arts."

Okay so how do you hunt yotes in the north east. Just went last week and had little luck!
      John 3:16
"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

      Romans 12:1-2
Therefore, I urge you, brothers, in view of God's mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God--this is your spiritual act of worship. [2] Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is--his good, pleasing and perfect will.
